Overview

Wondershare USB Drive Encryption is designed to encrypt and decrypt USB drive for critical data. Meanwhile, you can reset password for encrypted files, and freely access to encrypted data.

Encrypt USB drive and files

Step 1: Plug USB drive into computer and backup the data on USB drive
Wondershare USB Drive Encryption will discard all your data after encryption, so we strongly recommend you to backup data before encryption.
Step 2: Create a secure area on USB drive to encrypt the device.

Step 3: Open the created area on USB drive.

Step 4: Simply drag and drop the files that you want to password protect to secure area to get encryption.

Change password for encrypted USB drive

There are two ways to change password for encrypted USB drive.
Method 1: Reset the password by Change Password button in the main interface.
Method 2: Change password by Setting option when you open secure area on USB drive.

Recover the access to secure area

Step1: Select target USB drive, click Recover.
Step 2: Enter correct user name and password, click OK.
After repairing, the access to secure area will appear again on USB drive again.

Decrypt encrypted USB drive

If you want to decrypt any files in the device, just drag the files out of the secure area and save to any other location; if you want to decrypt the USB drive, just uninstall USB Encryption from the drive.
Note: We strongly recommended you to backup all files in the device before uninstalling because encrypted files will be discarded after the operation.

Step 1: Select your target USB drive, click Uninstal.
Step 2: Enter correct password, and then click OK to finish decryption.
